End of Semester Review
Filmp 160 has been my favorite class of my first 2 semesters at Hunter. Learning how to use Premiere Pro and actually editing and uploading works of my own to Youtube have been dreams of mine since I started watching funny Youtube videos on my iPod as a kid. This class gave me the foundation I needed to start creating and was an essential part of helping me stay sane during quarantine. Project 2 especially really helped me to start finding my own artistic voice and my passion for working with audio. Every young artist needs a safe place to create and find their voice and that’s exactly what this class has been for everyone during this strange time. Being able to present my own work and even analyze my classmates’ work provided tremendous value in terms of learning from mistakes of my own and where I can improve. Working on these projects has provided a sense of normalcy at a time where what was normal is continually dwindling away.
